Ainsley Sanidad
Impact Associate
As Impact Associate, Ainsley Sanidad helps uplift Merritt’s workforce development initiative, Commitment to Community (C2C). A critical part of her role is strengthening C2C’s vast suite of programs by spearheading the Merritt Scholars alumni network and strengthening the connectivity between C2C partners.
Ainsley brings a strong foundation in affordable housing, with her experience spanning program design, communications, and project management. Prior to joining Merritt, she was a Senior Program Associate at Enterprise Community Partners, where she supported fundraising efforts and programmatic initiatives in the preservation of unsubsidized affordable housing, provided technical assistance, and managed federal capacity building grants. She also designed and implemented an early-career development program that supported emerging professionals entering the affordable housing field.
Her lived experiences of growing up in San Francisco and as a first-generation college graduate directly shapes her passion and determination to house the most vulnerable communities and create pathways for the next generation of leaders in the affordable housing space. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
