Jasper Chew
Jasper Chew is a dual Master of Public Policy and Master of Urban Planning student at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. His academic and professional interests center on expanding housing affordability through increased production, innovative public finance strategies, and effective land use policy. Jasper is a Pasadena and Northeast Los Angeles native, committed to identifying planning and policy solutions that improve outcomes for the community he calls home.
Jasper has worked across public affairs, nonprofit affordable housing development, homelessness research, and urban economics. As a Merritt Scholar, he looks forward to learning from industry leaders and gaining practical insights that will contribute to the development and preservation of affordable housing at scale.
