Adriana Torres Ceja

Adriana Torres recently graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. and M.A. in Public Policy, concentrating in Urban Development and Policy, and is now pursuing a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) at UCLA. Originally from California’s Eastern Coachella Valley, her firsthand experiences with housing injustice and disinvestment in rural communities of color continue to fuel her passion for equitable development.

Adriana has worked across policy, research, and development roles at organizations including Leadership Counsel, California Housing Partnership, Frolic Community, and Enterprise Community Partners. She is especially passionate about community-led, permanently affordable housing. As a Merritt Scholar, Adriana looks forward to deepening her technical knowledge and building a career rooted in community-driven solutions.
