Aurion Wiley-Green

Aurion Wiley-Green is a Master of Urban Planning student at the University of Southern California, where she focuses on economic and real estate development. Her passion for affordable housing and community stability comes from growing up in San Francisco’s Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood, where she witnessed how displacement has reshaped historically Black communities and families’ ability to remain rooted in place.

Before graduate school, Aurion worked in the San Francisco Planning Department’s Community Equity Division, supporting community planning and housing policy. She is committed to expanding housing access, preventing displacement, and strengthening historically underserved communities. Her focus areas include affordable housing development and preservation, community ownership, housing policy, and neighborhood stabilization.
As a Merritt Scholar, Aurion hopes to build practical skills, learn from industry leaders, and gain a deeper understanding of where she can make the greatest impact in affordable housing.
