Megan Nguyen

Megan Nguyen is a Master of City Planning student at UC Berkeley, concentrating in Housing, Community, and Economic Development. Her commitment to affordable housing is rooted in her own experiences growing up in San José, which shaped her belief that stable housing is the foundation for stability and opportunity.

Megan brings nearly five years of experience in affordable housing policy and advocacy through roles at East Bay Housing Organizations and Enterprise Community Partners. She is passionate about creating communities where everyone has access to a safe, stable, and affordable home, with a particular interest in community placemaking and belonging.

As a Merritt Scholar, Megan looks forward to building relationships across the affordable housing industry, learning from her peers and mentors, and deepening her commitment to community-driven housing solutions.
