Ruben Anguiano

Ruben Anguiano is pursuing a Master’s in Real Estate Development at UC Berkeley while working part-time as an Associate Project Manager at MidPen Housing. Having grown up in Los Angeles, he understands the stability a home provides and believes housing is a human right.

Ruben is passionate about using creative financing, construction, and development strategies to expand affordable housing across California. As a Merritt Scholar, he looks forward to widening his knowledge of the development process, exploring innovative funding solutions, and building a strong network of peers and professionals. He is committed to addressing the affordable housing crisis in his home state.
