Shaine Stuhlmuller

Shaine Stuhlmuller is a graduate student in Urban and Regional Planning at UCLA, concentrating in Housing, Design, and Development. With over three years of experience in local government, she is committed to advancing housing justice through policy research and advocacy shaped by an understanding of the barriers facing affordable housing development.
As a tenant organizer, Shaine is passionate about building tenant leadership through community land stewardship and other forms of decommodified housing. She looks forward to deepening her understanding of real estate development as a Merritt Scholar, while learning alongside peers and industry leaders committed to expanding permanently affordable housing.
