Amanda Hopkins

Senior Asset Manager

Amanda Hopkins is an Asset Manager at Merritt Capital. She has over 15 years of experience in the Affordable Housing industry which has included administering HUD Section 8 contracts, Asset Management of an extensive portfolio of LIHTC projects for a national syndicator, and Asset Management of heavily layered projects serving some of the neediest populations of the Bay Area for a non-profit developer/owner.

Amanda Joined Merritt’s Asset Management team in 2022 and is excited to hit the ground running, putting her existing C3P Certification and industry training to work! She plans to obtain her formal Asset Management Certification through CHAM within her first year of service at Merritt.

Before joining Merritt, Amanda was an Asset Manager at Resources for Community Development, where she managed approximately 20 deeply Affordable Housing projects with a focus on HUD 202/811 and other subsidy programs. She also implemented process improvements and encouraged technology adoption within the Asset Management team as the company built its internal database platform.

Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from American Intercontinental University Online.
