Senior Asset Manager

Rebecca Mauerer is a Senior Asset Manager at Merritt Community Capital Corporation, bringing more than 15 years of experience in residential property management, including more than nine years focused on affordable housing and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to ensuring safe and affordable housing for families, seniors, and individuals with supportive housing needs across the Bay Area.

Prior to joining Merritt in 2023, Rebecca served as a Senior Regional Manager at one of the nation’s largest affordable housing property management firms. In this role, she directly managed eight properties while also overseeing 15 additional properties as part of a developer’s portfolio in Santa Clara County.

Since joining Merritt, Rebecca has continued to build on her expertise in affordable housing asset management, earning her Asset Management Specialist™ designation through the Consortium for Housing and Asset Management (CHAM) within her first year of service. She also obtained her Certified Housing Asset Manager™ (CHAM) certification, further strengthening her ability to support the long-term success of affordable housing communities.
