Rising Affordable Housing Management Professionals (RAMP)

CCRH Internship Program

Rising Affordable Housing Management Professionals (RAMP)

Property managers play a critical role in maintaining housing stability while supporting the long-term sustainability of affordable housing communities. With demand for these roles continuing to rise, RAMP offers prospective property managers tangible experience and leadership skills, while increasing visibility of possible career paths within property management.

In partnership with local community colleges, RAMP equips students with the tools and training to succeed in today’s evolving housing landscape. Participants will:

  • Gain practical skills in affordable housing operations through a comprehensive curriculum, ultimately earning a property management certificate
  • Prepare for careers that directly support local communities, helping ensure residents have access to safe, stable affordable housing
  • Connect with peers and industry leaders to grow a powerful network of mission-aligned professionals

Merritt is proud to partner with local community colleges on RAMP’s curriculum and long-term growth. By identifying mission-driven institutions that are also rooted in workforce development, our collective efforts play a vital role in preparing students for careers in property management.

Courses launched this past spring with a 3-unit Affordable Housing Property Management course, with classes continuing this summer. Beginning this fall, courses will count toward a for-credit certificate.
