Congratulations to Eden Housing on their recent project, Donner Field Senior Apartments, located in Sacramento, California. As a new construction senior community, Donner Field is available to 67 households aged 55+ earning at or below 60% of the area median income, with 17 units set aside for individuals experiencing homelessness. In addition, the project will be all-electric and is anticipated to receive GreenPoint Rated Gold certification.
Linda Mandolini, President and CEO at Eden Housing recently stated, “Donner Field Senior Apartments represents a meaningful step forward in addressing senior homelessness in this region. We’re grateful for all of our mission-driven partners, including Merritt, whose collaboration and commitment have helped bring this project together. We look forward to welcoming residents in 2027 and seeing this vibrant community thrive.”

Congratulations Eden Housing on their recent project, Riverhouse Hotel, located in Martinez, California. Originally built in 1914, this historic building has been operating as permanent housing since 1994 and is undergoing a full renovation to ensure its residents will be comfortably housed. As a rehabilitation project, Riverhouse will serve up to 83 senior (62+) households in downtown Martinez.
“The rehabilitation of the Riverhouse Hotel demonstrates how thoughtful collaboration can both honor a community’s history and create renewed opportunity for residents to thrive. We’re grateful for our strong partnership with Merritt that made this project a reality,” Linda Mandolini, President and CEO at Eden Housing recently stated.
