Asset Manager Specialist+ Cohort (AMS+)

As a critical part of Commitment to California (C2C), AMS+ uplifts asset managers, who are crucial in the preservation of affordable housing. They are vital in ensuring Californians find a home where they can thrive, and the homes we build stay occupied.

We are thrilled to kick off this year’s AMS+ cohort! Applications open Monday, June 9, and close Monday, June 30.

By utilizing curriculum provided by the Consortium for Housing & Asset Management (CHAM®), participants will:

-attend virtual and live instructor-led sessions
-engage in working groups and industry-focused discussions
-have opportunities for in-person networking

Merritt’s Director of Asset Management, Izaac Singh, will lead all live, instructor-led sessions. Izaac’s experience in the affordable housing industry is extensive, and his added layer of knowing how to integrate asset management in the process will position participants for success.

Participants will complete their AMS designation from CHAM, which is essential for asset managers to be successful in today’s affordable housing market.

Through our partnership with CHAM, we are on a mission to solve the affordable housing crisis, which requires significant investments in our next generation of asset managers, who will help us build a stronger California.
